Toners That Feel Amazing!

Lykkers, I used to think toner was just an extra step that didn't make much difference. I'd skip it for days, then wonder why my skin felt a little dull or dry.
Once I found formulas that actually suited my skin, I stopped seeing toner as something optional. Now it feels strange when I don't use one. Lately, I've been switching between these depending on what my skin needs.

1. Everwhite Hydrating Essence Toner

The first thing I noticed was how comforting it felt. It's more like a lightweight essence than a watery toner, so my skin instantly feels refreshed the moment I pat it in. I usually apply a couple of layers whenever my skin feels dehydrated, and it never feels heavy afterward. Instead, my skin looks softer and has that healthy, hydrated glow that makes me feel like I already look more awake. I also like how well it works with the rest of my skincare. Nothing pills, nothing feels sticky, and my moisturizer glides on much more smoothly afterward.

2. Wardah Glycolic Acid Niacinamide Brightening & Hydrating Toner

I wasn't sure how my skin would react the first time I used this because I don't use exfoliating products every day. I started slowly, and that turned out to be the right decision. What I enjoy most is that my skin feels fresh after using it instead of feeling stripped. Over time, I noticed my complexion looked more even, and the rough patches around my nose gradually became less noticeable. I don't use it every single night. I like giving my skin a break between applications, and that routine has worked really well for me.
I don't see them as competitors because they do completely different jobs in my routine. Everwhite is the bottle I grab when my skin simply wants hydration and comfort, while Wardah comes out on the evenings when I'm focusing on smoother, brighter-looking skin. My skincare shelf changes all the time, but somehow both of these have managed to stay. That probably says more than any rating ever could. If you're trying to build a simple routine, I'd happily make space for either one.
